Kaya Ensor is a film director, writer, editor, and executive producer — and the founder of Kaya Ensor Films, a London-based production company working across feature-length documentary, narrative short film, and branded content campaigns. Kaya’s work focuses on human interest, science, wildlife, exploration and travel and is defined by its emotional honesty and visual ambition.

With over a decade of experience in film, television, and branded content, Kaya has worked with global brands like Disney, ARM, National Geographic, De Beers, Waitrose, Costa Rica Tourism Board, England & Wales Cricket Board, Destination Canada & Netflix. She has worked on World Media Award and Drum Award-winning campaigns and had her films featured at prestigious film festivals worldwide, including Tribeca, Mountain Film Festival, Nashville Film Festival, Sheffield DocFest, and the Rotterdam Wildlife Film Festival, among others.

Kaya studied History, English & Art History at the University of Pennsylvania. The daughter of television journalists, she is a British, Polish and American citizen and has lived in Moscow, London, Warsaw, NYC, Philly and DC. She is currently writing and directing narrative short films alongside her documentary and branded content practice. In her spare time, she enjoys studying the golden age of piracy, travelling with her husband and raising an ever-growing number of houseplants.
